SMASH Connect: Volunteer Ask

Happy New Year! The Level Playing Field is proud to announce the launch of the SMASH:Connect Mentoring Program. SMASH:Connect matches SMASH alumni with STEM professionals in the Bay Area and beyond. This program is designed to support the academic, professional, and social development of SMASH alumni currently pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in STEM at some of the nation’s most premiere colleges and universities.

We are actively seeking STEM professionals who are interested in becoming a mentor. No past mentoring experience is required and we have the tools you need to become a successful mentor. Ideal mentors are:

• STEM professionals
• Available 4-6 hours a month to mentor a college student
• Passionate about diversifying the STEM professions
