The 12 minute film, “I Am”, explores the experience of a group of high school students at Morehouse, the only all male SMASH program, in the classroom, on campus and while visiting the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama.
In their own words, the film shows these Scholars developing a deeper understanding of themselves and their role leveraging STEM based skills to reimagine a more just world.
SMASH’s mission is to build a strong, diverse and socially conscious tech workforce by leveling the playing field through academic learning and experiential engagement for high school and college students.
